Staff Accountant - General Ledger

Responsibilities

• Daily cash accounting and reconciliation
• Coding invoices/submission for payment
• Prepare journal entries for month end close for five corporate companies
• Prepare account reconciliations for five corporate companies
• Prepare foreign chargeback invoicing
• Review and record global foreign charges, follow up with units as needed
• Prepare A/R and A/P agings for corporate entities
• Process and send statements to foreign entities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, retail or service space
• Proficient formula capabilities for Microsoft Excel
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Qualifications

• Current location within a commutable distance to Alsip, IL
• Willingness and ability to be in the Alsip, IL office 2-3 days/week

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics & BPC software
