Staff Accountant FT

Essential Functions

• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and execute them with minimal supervision.
• Exhibits excellent business math skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, MS Word, 10 Key.
• Effectively working and cooperating with supervisors, co-workers, clients and hospital management.
• Following the directions of supervisors.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Functional Accountabilities

• Records routine general ledger accounting entries to properly reflect all company financial activity.
• Codes and posts misc. cash deposits.
• Reconciles bank accounts and all general ledger balance sheet accounts and timely follows-up on reconciling items.
• Prepares PACS Billing.
• Bills intercompany transactions and billings to external parties for amounts due to company.
• Assists and backs-up Accounts Payable Specialist and Senior Accountant as needed.
• Assists Controller, Chief Accounting Office and CFO in preparing for annual audit.
• Special accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Intermediate knowledge of MS word and Excel
• 1-3 Years Accounting Experience
