Responsibilities

  • Ensure fixed assets are properly accounted for by monitoring the end-to-end process including classification, useful life, acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reporting.
  • Support implementation and operation of the Oracle financial suite including ERP, Planning and Budgeting, and Oracle APEX Data warehouse to assist with capital expenditure reporting and audit processes.
  • Monitor and report on CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensure timely capitalization of projects.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure that the review, approval, and accounting policies for Fixed Assets are globally aligned and consistently applied.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support management programs and productivity and growth initiatives.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and respond to inquiries for the company's quarterly, interim, and year-end audits, including SOX internal controls processes and procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate, count, and record results of periodic fixed assets physical inventory.
  • Implement process and technology platforms to improve reporting and controls to enhance operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
