Staff Accountant - Financial Operations
About the role
New Orleans Restoration Properties (NORP) is seeking a Staff Accountant - Financial Operations to own the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, with a clear, supported path to grow into a full-time Controller role. This position works under the direct mentorship of the Fractional CFO, gaining hands-on exposure to real estate development finance, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
What sets us apart
At NORP, we're driven by a simple but powerful purpose: transforming and improving communities while creating intergenerational wealth. Our niche is development that aligns with neighborhood character and community values — restoring and building multifamily housing, commercial, and hospitality spaces that fit naturally into the fabric of the neighborhoods we serve, rather than disrupting them. We are committed to creating opportunities for those who have been disenfranchised, caring for the vulnerable, and improving quality of life for residents through development that honors local history and community identity. By pairing strategic partnerships and technology with genuine respect for the neighborhoods we build in, we aim to create lasting, generational value for the families and communities we serve.
