Staff Accountant, eGaming
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions.
- Use the Company’s global account reconciliation software (OneStream) to create monthly GL account reconciliations, ensuring sufficient evidence exists to justify account balances.
- Own eGaming’s equipment CIP inventory schedules to support balance sheet and cash flow activity.
- Work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Procurement, and Cost Accounting to ensure the accuracy of all CIP transactional activity and promptly resolve any inconsistencies.
- Maintain eGaming fixed asset records and communicate monthly additions or retirements.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and determine any journal entries needed based on the reconciliation.
- Other month-end close support and/or ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned.
- Assist with audit fieldwork, providing sufficient support for journal entries and reconciliations.
- Engage with all levels of the organization to understand eGaming operations and drive improvement.
- Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality and that fosters education, open-communication, collaboration, teamwork, and systems integration.
Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 1 or more years of related experience.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High attention-to-detail and accountability for produced work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management.
- Maintains confidentiality of corporate and shareholder information.
Preferred Experience
- Salesforce.com, Tableau, OneStream, SAP.
- Experience in public accounting or a regulated industry i.e., banking, gaming.
