Staff Accountant

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant supports the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and expense reporting functions, ensuring a timely month-end close in accordance with GAAP and company policy.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, reclassifications) with supporting documentation.

• Perform monthly GL account reconciliations and resolve variances timely.

• Prepare month-end/quarter-end schedules, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting for management.

• Process vendor invoices in Oracle with proper approvals, accurate GL coding, and timely payment.

• Manage AP aging, payment runs, vendor discrepancies, and W-9 records.

• Support month-end/quarter-end AP close activities and assist with audit requests.

• Assist in the preparation and processing of semi-monthly/bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

• Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts and record payroll journal entries.

• Administer SAP Concur; audit expense reports for policy compliance.

• Record approved expense reports in Oracle ERP with accurate GL coding and timely posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, technology or SaaS company experience a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Oracle ERP and SAP Concur experience a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, proactive with ability to manage competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills; collaborative and solutions-oriented.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid position working 3-4 days per week in the office.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $75,000-$110,000 per year
