About the role
This is more than just an accounting job — you'll be a trusted partner to operations, supporting project success through accurate financials, job costing, and strong business insight.Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the preparation and review of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insights into financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and timely completion of projects.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures to support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a construction-related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with construction accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
