Responsibilities
- Aid in billing under the guidance of the Billing Manager
- Support the collections process and diligently handle outstanding balances
- Conduct customer account research and communicate findings
- Generate financial reports as part of the monthly closing process
- Prepare and explain required documentation for internal and external audits
- Perform monthly account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with special projects as directed by senior leadership
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of A/R and collections experience, preferably within the construction or modular construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (Salesforce and Sage preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience working in a multi-branch organization
- A solid work ethic including doing the right thing, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty
