Responsibilities
- Support the cash management process including facilitating payments, providing daily balance updates to leadership and matching transactions within NetSuite
- Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries
- Support the month- and quarter-end accounting close process including analysis of results, resolution of differences and communication of unusual variances
- Perform monthly account reconciliations. Collaborate with finance team members as well as cross functional departments
- Support the internal and external audit processes including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation
- Facilitate ad hoc data requests, deliverables and other controllership deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Experience with other ERP systems, nice to have (e.g., Hyperion, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing accounting and finance team
- Proven ability to work independently, execute well and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements
- Office Work: Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
- Ability to participate in meetings, either in person or virtually
- Travel (if applicable): Occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, or company events. This could involve the ability to sit on a plane or in a car for extended periods. Ability to navigate different environments, such as visiting different offices or attending conferences
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills for presentations, meetings, and discussions with stakeholders
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and data
- Occasional Lifting: While unlikely, some positions may involve light lifting (e.g., transporting documents or materials) or moving items for presentations, but this is rarely a primary responsibility in this type of role
