Staff Accountant

We're looking for an analytical, detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working with financial data. What You'll DoAccounting & Financial ReportingPrepare and post journal entries related to accruals, expenses, investments, fixed assets, prepaids, and other general ledger activity.Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.Reconciliations & AnalysisPerform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts and operational systems, researching and resolving discrepancies.Analyze financial data, identify variances, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.Excel & Process ImprovementUtilize Excel to analyze large data sets, prepare reconciliations, and develop meaningful reports.Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and create efficiencies within accounting operations.Financial OperationsReconcile and record daily settlement activity for ACH, debit cards, credit cards, ATM/ITM transactions, mobile deposits, and other payment channels.Support cash management, wire activity, and other operational accounting functions.General AccountingProcess vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions accurately and timely.Maintain supporting documentation and assist with accounting schedules, audits, and examiner requests. What We're Looking For3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, improve processes, and grow professionally.
