Staff Accountant

Pay Type: Exempt
Starting Salary: $65,000+ (based on experience)
About the role
This position will be responsible for assistance in maintaining the company's fiscal records, ensuring that all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and analyzing the company’s financial position with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budget. A successful person in this role will possess strong technical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills and will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team. This position works within all functional areas of the business with supervision from the CFO. The level of responsibility for the position may rise based on the capabilities of the individual.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of accounting operations, including transactions related to general ledger, receivables, and payables.
- Assist in analyzing the company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Provide regular status reports to senior management.
- Maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist in the management of daily cash analysis, including bank reconciliations, transfers, and working capital needs assessment.
- Ensure compliance with international transfer pricing policies and regulations.
- Assist the CFO in financial planning and projections.
- Assist with the coordination, preparation, and review of quarterly and annual reports, tax returns, and related information, as well as year-end audits and any internal reviews.
- Other special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar required. Candidates in their final year of their degree are welcome to apply.
- High level of technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and analysis techniques, and knowledge of cash management and asset capitalization processes.
- Must possess current US work authorization.
