About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare financial statements, disclosures, reconciliations and reports.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
  • Aids in AP and AR functions.
  • Performs manufacturing cost accounting activities and supports forecasting, budgeting, and financial processes.
  • Serve as a backup for key Site Controller responsibilities as needed.
  • Reviews of accounting processes and internal controls and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Works cross-functionally with operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources and Corporate Finance to ensure support business needs and special projects.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls and applicable accounting guidance.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and assess economic trends and business impacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • Masters in Accountancy, CPA designation or CFA designation preferred.
