About the role

Responsibilities
- Review and prepare financial statements, disclosures, reconciliations and reports.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
- Aids in AP and AR functions.
- Performs manufacturing cost accounting activities and supports forecasting, budgeting, and financial processes.
- Serve as a backup for key Site Controller responsibilities as needed.
- Reviews of accounting processes and internal controls and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Works cross-functionally with operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources and Corporate Finance to ensure support business needs and special projects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls and applicable accounting guidance.
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess economic trends and business impacts.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- Masters in Accountancy, CPA designation or CFA designation preferred.
