Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations by processing payables, receivables, cash activity, and bank-related transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Record and reconcile intercompany financial activity, ensuring transactions are properly reflected in the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation to keep accounting records complete and audit-ready.
• Review bank activity, perform account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies to support accurate cash reporting.
• Maintain financial data in QuickBooks and help ensure accounting information is current, organized, and reliable.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor transaction flow and uphold consistent accounting procedures across entities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting position with hands-on responsibility for full-cycle transactional accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and the ability to use accounting systems effectively for daily financial processing.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Experience handling bank reconciliations, cash activity, and intercompany accounting transactions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite, structured work environment.
• Solid communication and organizational skills to coordinate effectively with team members and internal business partners.
