Staff Accountant

About the role

Pariveda is seeking a motivated individual to fill a Staff Accountant role to join our Finance and Accounting team in the Corporate Services office in Dallas. This is a collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving role.

Responsibilities

• Record General Ledger transactions to support the month-end close process
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to support the month-end close process
• Support monthly fixed asset and expense report processes
• Perform operational reporting and financial analysis
• Research new accounting pronouncements and standards
• Aid in the bi-annual testing of our accounting system upgrades

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including General Ledger transactions, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis
• CPA or CPA-candidate strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate successfully
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency with Excel
• Experience with NetSuite preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting or Finance, or comparable experience

Pay

The salary range for this position is $59,000 - $64,900 annually. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Schedule

Work within a hybrid model, sometimes at home and sometimes in the office.
