Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records and support the company’s financial operations. Technical Accounting Skills Financial Reporting: Ability to accurately prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. General Ledger Management: Experience maintaining and updating ledgers, tracking journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Taxation Knowledge: Familiarity with basic tax principles, compliance regulations, and assisting in tax preparation. Auditing: Assisting in internal and external audit processes, including pulling data and validating transaction records. Software & Technology Spreadsheet Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros. Accounting Systems: Experience using standard accounting and ERP platforms, Familiar with IRELY would be a plus Soft Skills & Business Operations Analytical Thinking: The ability to spot discrepancies, detect data patterns, and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. Time Management: The discipline to juggle multiple tasks and meet strict weekly, monthly, and yearly deadlines. Group Environment. The ability to work in an open office environment and stay focused. Data Entry. Willingness to perform basic data entry duties along with other accounting duties.
