Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Absorb fixed asset tracking and running depreciation
• Conduct periodic inventory walkthroughs at centers and reconcile to the general ledger
• Aid in the preparation of annual tax filings and external audits, including providing reconciliations, schedules and supporting documents
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Support centers to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, offering financial insights and assistance as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $65,000. The pay range listed here is what LLE Group in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
