We’re Hiring! KirkpatrickPrice is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join the Finance Team in the Bowling Green, KY office. Any level of experience is welcome to apply!

KirkpatrickPrice is a growing auditing firm with an emphasis on cybersecurity audits and penetration tests. We help our clients make sure that their environments are secured against cybersecurity threats and bad actors. As part of our firm, you’ll help primarily with managing accounts payable and recording payroll, with the opportunity to expand into support for our accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detailed. The position requires a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Basic reconciliations
• RAMP/AP
• Maintaining supporting schedules to calculate and record prepaid expenses
• RAMP Management – creating bills from drafts
• RAMP Management – monitoring AP mailbox
• RAMP Management – reconciling payments
• RAMP Management – reconciliation
• Payroll – Concur expenses
• Payroll – Entering weekly payroll
• Payroll – Maintain the portal access for multiple state tax websites
• Month-End Close Process – Benefit reconciliation
• Month-End Close Process – Benefit allocation
• Month-End Close Process – Payroll liability reconciliations
• P&L Analytics
• Year-End – 1099 reconciliation & preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 0-2 years of accounting experience

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problems
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Pay

$52,000-$62,000, annually
