Staff Accountant

You'll work closely with our financial team to maintain our financial health, make optimal financial decisions, and drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining important financial reports.
• Analyzing complex financial records and reports.
• Collaborating with the financial team to perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyzing financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Reporting on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing variance analysis and prepare account reconciliations.
• Assisting with financial and tax audits.
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
• Experience with other finance-related software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Certification such as CMA or CPA is a plus.
