Staff Accountant

POSITION TITLE Staff Accountant Position Summary In this position, you will support daily accounting operations by processing invoices, managing transactions and expenses, maintaining accounting records, and contributing to accurate and transparent financial management while supporting the accounting team and business growth. Responsibilities Prepare bank deposits and post general ledger entries Manage and reconcile cash and bank accounts Maintain supporting documentation and worksheets Perform accurate data entry Reconcile invoices and investigate discrepancies Manage income and expenditure accounts Review expenses Maintain asset and liability records Maintain general ledger accounts Assist with tax filing preparation Resolve accounting discrepancies Prepare monthly financial statements using data analysis Support audit preparation and auditor requests Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist with other accounting-related duties as needed Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles Understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with finance regulations, including US GAAP and IFRS Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of accounting or related experience Experience in the entertainment industry Experience with SAP accounting software Fluency in both English and Japanese LOCATION Greater Los Angeles Area WORK ARRANGEMENT Hybrid (minimum three days per week in office) EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full -time PAY RATE $ 25-$30 per hour BENEFITS Medical , dental, vision, 401(k), Paid holidays and vacation
