Position Summary
Industrial Inspection & Analysis is currently experiencing rapid growth, and we are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting and Finance team in Alpharetta, GA. The Staff Accountant will support the Controller for general accounting, monthly close and financial reporting.
Essential Functions
- Record, allocate, and post journal entries for daily business transactions
- Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to identify and correct discrepancies
- Perform monthly wage analysis and book adjustments in accordance with business' feedback
- Aid with state tax, local sales and use tax filings and research issues, ensuring accuracy and clear documentation; work with CSC for state filings
- Provide suggestions to accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely month end AP and AR close process according to the accounting close schedule
- Review of P&L accounts to resolve adjustment issues
- Aid with external audit by preparing documentation and schedules to verify financial accuracy
- Support subsidiaries and staff with accounting needs
- Support special projects and development activities assigned by Controller and CFO
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Experience: High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn internal systems; 2-3 years progressive accounting experience in general accounting position with additional experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable; Strong hands-on experience with month-end close processes; Involvement in business registration, tax compliance and creating, distributing, and reporting tax datasheets; NetSuite experience preferred

Work Arrangements
