Staff Accountant

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Essential Functions

• Examines accounting documents (i.e. vouchers, invoices, etc.) to verify accuracy of computations and uniform application of policies, procedures and acceptable accounting standards.
• Prepares and posts various entries into the general ledger, including adjustments and closing entries.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reports in SAP and Targetik.
• Maintains fixed asset schedules and calculates depreciation.
• Prepares various account reconciliations, schedules, exhibits and summaries to support the general ledger balances.
• Works with foreign currency transactions including currency conversions and revaluations.
• Develops other nonstandard analyses, reports or statements to include tables, charts and other exhibits.
• Supports month-end and year-end closing processes
• Participates in the preparation of consolidated US GAAP & IFRS financial statements.
• Assists in the reconciliation of intercompany transactions with affiliates worldwide.
• Participate in the interim and annual audits for the Company.
• Provides support to all areas of the Accounting Department as needed.
• Performs other analysis and special projects as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus target of 5%, subject to company performance. Benefits available to eligible employees include:
