Staff Accountant

General Position Responsibilities

• Aid in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, conducting general account analysis, and performing account reconciliations.
• Manage and train accounting team members.
• Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger monthly.
• Ensure that all financial transactions comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions at month end, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
• Meet with the finance team overseas once a week or as needed.
• Ability to multitask and perform multiple duties simultaneously.
• Prepare local taxes and coordinate quarterly and yearly reports with the tax firm.

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Pay

$85k - $100k DOE
