About The Role
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team in Grapevine. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to broaden their experience by managing the full accounting cycle for multiple entities while working closely with leadership. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is eager to grow into increased responsibility over time.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple business entities
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and 1099 reporting
- Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Produce monthly financial statements for assigned entities
- Assist with construction loan draw requests
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple companies simultaneously
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-cover responsibilities as needed
- Prioritize competing deadlines while managing multiple entity portfolios
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned
What You Bring
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience preparing monthly financial statements
- Multi-entity or multi-client accounting experience is highly preferred
- Public accounting, client accounting services, or bookkeeping experience supporting multiple clients is a strong plus
- Job cost accounting experience is a plus
- Construction, land development, homebuilding, or related industry experience is preferred
- Experience with Trimble Spectrum is a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, heads-down work environment
- Self-motivated with a desire to grow into a senior accounting role
