Staff Accountant

About the role

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor and assists the Accounting Supervisor and Controller in ensuring that the Company’s accounting processes, including policies, are in accordance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliation of multiple accounts
• Processing of payroll, with multi-site & multi-state
• Accounts Payable + invoice processing
• Month’s end closings
• General ledger analysis - journal entries, budgets, forecasting
• Chart of accounts
• Accounts Receivables
• Advanced user experience with Excel
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years Accounting experience in manufacturing production
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar discipline (comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience “closing” of financial records monthly in a timely
• Experienced in general

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and drug
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing
• Able to sit for long
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to
