Staff Accountant

About the Role

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an active Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and play a key role in a growing firm. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role with a track to partnership for the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients
• Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts
• Plan, prepare, and review tax returns
• Meet directly with clients to cultivate strong, lasting relationships
• Deliver a variety of non-attest services
• Oversee and mentor staff, helping to develop future leaders within the firm

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is a plus—but not required
• 2-4 years of tax experience in public accounting is preferred
• Ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Confidence in explaining complex financial concepts to clients from all backgrounds
• Farm tax experience is a plus—but not required
