Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Perform and audit account reconciliations, including vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assess financial data and systems during mergers, acquisitions, and related projects.
- Use technology, including Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, to improve workflows, automate processes, and strengthen reporting capabilities.
Organizational Support
- Contribute to the development of new and amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.
- Maintain general ledger account structure to fit into reporting systems and information reporting needs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
- Two or more years of experience in an accounting role.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial reporting principles, and/or intercompany accounting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or related programs.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment including extended periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer screen(s), and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Work experience in energy, mining, or related industry preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite or large ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Dynamics) preferred.

Summary
Location: Hybrid position based in Reno, NV (Required to be on-site at least 3 days per week).
