Staff Accountant

This opportunity is for a Full Time Staff Accountant for our Rochelle Park, NJ office. Under the supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Staff Accountant will help maintain our financial records, including journal entries, purchases, payments, and account reconciliation and work closely with our finance team to create and analyze financial reports. The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities are to prepare and record routine journal entries, oversee and assist with recording and allocation all day-to-day invoices, manage vendor transitions, and reconcile transactions of our company. Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform journal entries in general ledgerOversee and assist with processing and coding of incoming vendor invoicesEnsure procurement accounts are set up for company officesManage vendor and service account integration and transitionProcess payment of billsConduct bank and credit card account reconciliationsDeposit checks received into bank accountsManage lease setup and maintenance as requiredAdditional accounting functions as needed Education & Experience Minimum 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience, medical / healthcare experience is a plusHands-on experience with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience using Netsuite Skills And Abilities Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailData entry skills and proficiency in manipulating and uploading CSV filesProficiency in ExcelStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across a team Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer. Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
