Staff Accountant

About The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established organization serving the commercial equipment and industrial services market. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to add a Staff Accountant to their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with approximately 3+ years of experience who wants to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting while gaining exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and recurring financial reporting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare bank, balance sheet, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, cash reporting, and working capital tracking.
• Maintain vendor records, assist with 1099 tracking, and support documentation for accounting transactions.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to improve processes and support ongoing business growth.
• Work within ERP, CRM, and accounting systems while utilizing Excel to analyze and report financial data.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP and accounting systems.
• Manufacturing, industrial, dealership, or equipment industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
