About the Role
Process, analyze, and report financial information relating to General Accounting, Cash Management, and Asset Management in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers while continually improving accounting processes and procedures to exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing employee expense reports, including review for compliance with company policy.
- Support the weekly accounts payable process.
- Enter and process cash receipts.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and distribute weekly cash flow projections.
- Assist with the monthly general ledger close.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly accounts receivable flash reports.
- Perform general ledger account maintenance and reconciliations.
- Manage and track company assets, including computer hardware and software.
- Assist with procurement processes, including issuance of purchase orders and review of associated invoices.
- Support management of project budgets.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance-related field, with 2-3 years of work experience. In some cases, relevant and equivalent years of experience in a related industry may substitute for formal education.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- Commitment to solving difficult problems with effective solutions while exceeding customer expectations.
- Acts with integrity, supporting company values and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, such as weekly and monthly cutoffs.
- Patience and tolerance in working with people and processes; listens and verifies before acting.
