Staff Accountant

Position Summary

Looking for a career you can count on? We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support treasury activities and general accounting functions. This position will be responsible for cash reporting, account reconciliation, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and other accounting activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash reporting and monitor bank account activities
• Assist with cash forecasting
• Prepare and maintain cash and treasury schedules
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Assist with payment processing, wire/ACH activity, and other banking transactions
• Maintain supporting documentation and appropriate internal controls over treasury
• Maintain prepaid schedules and prepare monthly amortization schedules
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Assist with intercompany reconciliation
• Perform additional accounting duties as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel proficiency
• Ability to generate, read, analyze, and interpret data from electronic ERP systems
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication with management, peers, and customers
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years accounting experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP experience (preferred)
