Kaman & Cusimano, LLC, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Indianapolis office and help support our continued growth. What You'll Do Enter and process vendor invoices with appropriate coding and documentationPrepare payments by check or credit card and maintain accurate vendor recordsProcess incoming payments, including checks, ACH transactions, and wire transfersPrepare bank deposits for the Indianapolis office and accurately post payments to customer accountsCode receipts, transactions, and budget line items using established general ledger codesAssist with credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activitiesSupport month-end close activities as you become familiar with the firm's processesHelp maintain escrow and trust-related account recordsAssist with audits, reporting, internal documentation, and adherence to financial controlsCollaborate virtually with accounting colleagues supporting the firm's other office locations What We're Looking For Associate degree in accounting or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferredOne to two years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accountingWorking knowledge of transaction coding, reconciliations, deposits, and accounting data entryDetail-oriented, with the ability to manage recurring accounting tasks accuratelyProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and spreadsheets; pivot table and VLOOKUP experience is helpfulExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Business Central preferredLaw firm, professional services, or escrow/trust account experience is a plus, but not required About Us Kaman & Cusimano, LLC is a growing community association law firm serving condominium and homeowner associations throughout the Midwest.
