Chance to improve processes and streamline accounting workflows in Sage. Staff Accountant Responsibilities Assist with preparing monthly and year-end financial statements. The Staff Accountant will gather monthly sales tax data, review for accuracy, and process payments. Prepare month-end journal entries and support month-end close activities. The Staff Accountant will work on ad hoc accounting projects, including streamlining Sage processes and improving inventory controls. Support general accounting operations in a full-charge accounting capacity. The Staff Accountant will assist with job costing as needed. Qualifications Of The Staff Accountant Role Strong full-charge accounting experience, including month-end responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Knowledge of job costing is a plus.
