Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client’s accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to continue building their accounting career in a collaborative and growing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and analyze financial reports and account schedulesAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activitiesPerform bank and balance sheet reconciliationsResearch and resolve accounting discrepanciesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as neededSupport audit and tax-related activitiesMaintain accurate and organized accounting recordsAssist with other accounting projects and duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related accounting discipline required1–3 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, analytical, and eager to learn.
