Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive GAAP-compliant accounting schedules, including fixed asset roll forwards and supporting documentation
  • Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, depreciation, and month-end adjustments
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations with clear documentation and resolution of reconciling items
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, and Operations to ensure expenses and transactions are recorded accurately and on time
  • Support month-end close activities end-to-end, contributing to consistent, timely close cycles
  • Aid in the annual budgeting process by providing actuals, variance explanations, and schedule updates
  • Support the Accounting team with projections, analysis, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives
  • Jump in where needed - we're a collaborative team, and you'll play a key role in helping us meet deadlines and deliver business-critical results

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive GAAP-compliant accounting knowledge
  • Experience with journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and depreciation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Accounting software proficiency (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
