About the role
The role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the memory care unit, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to memory care
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure resident health needs are met
- Oversee staff training and development
- Develop and implement care plans for residents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in gerontology, social work, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in memory care or related field
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with medication management
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of memory care best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
