Staff Accountant

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our Accounting Department in Falls Creek. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in maintaining our financial integrity, supporting month-end closures, and ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine.

Your Impact

• Drive Accuracy: Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounting data.
• Master the Ledger: Assist with general ledger maintenance by preparing and posting journal entries, and support month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Be the Backbone: Help serve as a backup for the Accounting Manager and other key accounting functions, ensuring the efficiency of financial operations.
• Optimize Operations: Be involved in costing and inventory functions, manage fixed assets, and support the continuous improvement of accounting systems and procedures.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Ensure Compliance: Help maintain strict compliance with internal control policies and GAAP requirements.
