Staff Accountant

AmpThink is a leading provider of technology systems for world-class stadiums and arenas throughout North America. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Customer Experience team. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business in a collaborative environment that values the contributions of every team member. Responsibilities

• Perform all day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Maintain and update the accounting software
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
• Assist in various back office administrative responsibilities to support the company workforce

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting platforms, including ZOHO
• Experience with general ledger work, including month-end close, bank and credit card reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll accruals, and journal entries
• Experience with sales tax preparation or filing
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Experience leveraging technology to streamline and accelerate workflows
