Key Responsibilities: Process and manage factory and inventory payments, ensuring accurate 3-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoicesCollaborate with purchasing and other departments to resolve issues related to invoices and paymentsInvestigate and help implement fraud detection practices related to vendor payments and system controlsParticipate in the development and rollout of automation tools and new technologies to improve AP processes and reportingPrepare and file sales and use tax returns and international VAT/GST filings, and maintain the compliance calendarSupport the month-end close process by reconciling AP subledger to the general ledger and ensuring cut-off accuracyAssist with external audits by preparing requested documentation and supporting schedules Required Qualifications: 1-2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting functionsBachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, requiredIntermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.), pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)Confident working with internal and external customersWorking knowledge of GAAP Desired Qualifications: Experience with ERP systems, preferredSQL knowledge, preferred Our culture is passionate, entrepreneurial, and energetic.
