Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable

Primary Responsibilities

• Processes and posts invoices, travel and entertainment expense reports, and purchase orders.
• Verifies general ledger account coding and obtains necessary manager approvals.
• Researches and resolves vendor issues and discrepancies.
• Completes tasks related to the financial statement close process, such as journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Leverages AI productivity tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Evaluates AI-generated outputs for accuracy and identifies opportunities to improve processes.
• Participates in special projects as directed by management.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Up to two years experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to work with detail and interpret a variety of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software.

Compensation Disclosure

The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. This range may be adjusted in the future.
