SSOP/Sanitation - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP’s, SOP’s, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules, and policies.
• Make rounds every hour in assigned production/storage areas.
• Check rooms temperature four times a day.
• Ensure rooms are clean and trash has been picked up.
• Sign SSOP sheets as required.
• Check for the following:
  • Foreign objects
  • Condensation
  • GMP’s violations

Qualifications

• Ability to work in room temperatures below 40 degrees and above 90 degrees.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility with varying job assignments and working conditions.
• Ability to work as a team player with Sanitation and Production departments.
• Ability to communicate with Supervision, Quality Assurance, and USDA personnel.
• Strong desire to accept responsibility, show initiative, and be a team player.
• Willingness and ability to perform other job functions as needed.
