SSG Segment & Channel Controller

About the role

Responsible for managing and controlling segment and channel operations within the SSG (Storage Group) division. Key focus areas include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for assigned segments and channels.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and actual results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and practices.
• Experience with financial controls and risk management.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial principles and their application in a business context.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
