Key Responsibilities
- Own full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting for multiple manufacturing segments
- Lead month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Oversee product cost accounting, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and inventory accounting
- Manage inventory valuation, physical counts, cycle counts, and excess & obsolete reserves
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and business insights to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls
- Review capital investments and support ROI analysis
- Drive process improvements across finance and operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance talent across multiple teams and locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong expertise in: Cost accounting and standard costing, Inventory accounting and valuation, Manufacturing finance and operations, Forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, Financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial controls
- ERP experience in a complex manufacturing environment (Oracle preferred)
- Experience presenting financial results to executive leadership
- Proven leadership and talent development experience
