Sr. Water Systems Engineer, DC Design Engineering
About the role
Drive improvement of design standards and project approaches across the organization. Work with third party design vendors to review concept designs and designs in progress to ensure they meet established design standards, local code requirements, and any other requirements of the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Provide high quality water treatment advice on a wide variety of projects globally while working with global Mechanical engineering teams to achieve alignment of water treatment systems objectives. Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries. Ensure code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and assessment, testing, inspections, and submittal review. Meet with AHJs as needed to ensure approval of water treatment features.
Responsibilities

- Provide high quality water treatment advice on a wide variety of projects globally while working with global Mechanical engineering teams to achieve alignment of water treatment systems objectives.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries.

- This position will require up to 25% travel.
Requirements
- 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
- 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering or Architectural License
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
- Experience with water treatment design for industrial water, domestic water and wastewater.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

USA, VA, Herndon - 136,600.00 - 184,800.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - 136,600.00 - 184,800.00 USD annually
