About the role

This is a practice building role and will include business development activities to nurture and grow existing clients and develop new clients and sub consultants as well as project management for key clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage advanced projects to support key clients and enhance our positioning locally.
  • Deploy our unique expertise and perspective to create new value for clients and provide civic and industry leadership in South Florida.
  • Manage client coordination and cross-selling efforts across all business lines locally.
  • Prioritize investments to enhance WSP’s ability to deliver high quality, sustainable projects for clients bringing the best tools and practices available to market.
  • Optimize the client and employee experience through regular review and implement process improvements and automation.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure workplace safety and comply with WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant post education experience in water resources engineering.
  • Professional License.
  • Strong business development with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Florida.
  • Experience with change management.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience.
