About the role
The Sr. Training Specialist at Mohawk Industries is responsible for facilitating manufacturing and distribution training programs. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives to support employee development and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Cook up a variety of technical, operational, or functional training and development services.
- Plan and facilitate training workshops aligned with the strategic performance needs of the organization.
- Evaluate monthly metrics from manufacturing and assess if training procedures are driving effective change.
- Take successful process improvements and incorporate them into revising training materials.
- Create training modules and workshops.
- Assist with the development and administration of training workshops.
- Analyze employee feedback and performance data to refine training materials and delivery.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to address performance and development needs.
- Develop and facilitate new training programs as needed.
- Research, recommend, and assist with the implementation of new training programs.
- Coordinate and maintain training materials inventory.
- Aid in the administration of the department’s training budget or company’s reimbursement programs.
- Support management in selecting non-Company training programs.
- Maintain tracking systems and prepare reports.
- Propose processes and procedural enhancements to streamline non-value-added activities.
- Provide expertise for training assignments.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 4-6 years of job-specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
