Sr. Training Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a combination of traits to conduct hands-on virtual and classroom instruction for Cloud software technologies. In this role you will be responsible for supporting ongoing technical/end-user training activities within Global Education, with added focus on the user experience, customer workflows, and quality of the training. This ideal candidate should have a good blend of initiative, instructional experience, technical background, and adaptability to effectively tailor and enhance the customer education experience for varying student levels, from end users to system administrators in the Public Safety environment.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and instructing agency customers and staff on the use and operating methods of complex software products and services
- Conducting virtual and/or on-site training for Motorola CommandCentral software and designated third party software integrations
- Presenting training using a variety of classroom training methods; including but not limited to Zoom, Google Meet, Google Slides
- Completing department required reports within set standards and deadlines
- Managing communication with customer and internal stakeholders related to the project and training schedules
- Compiling comprehensive training and technical documents, and course material for new and existing products or services
- Maintaining knowledge transfer and training effectiveness
- Operating under supervision from the CommandCentral Training Team Manager
Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Travel requirements: frequent travel up to 50%, with domestic and occasional international travel requirements to meet business needs
- Must have a valid drivers license
- 1+ years of experience working with Motorola Solutions Customer Software preferred
- 3+ years of technical training experience preferred
- 3+ years of public safety experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with public safety products
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer & have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
