Sr. Technical Program Manager - Guidance, Navigation, Controls Software, Prime Air

About the role

Amazon Prime Air (PA) is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the development of software functionality within our ultra-fast drone delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive system and software-level milestone tracking and implementation, dependency mapping, risk management, and schedule updates.
• Oversee software development, verification, configuration management, and quality assurance to ensure compliance to Design Assurance Levels and software development standards.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
