Sr.Technical Program Manager/Delivery Manager
About the role
The Technical Program Manager/Delivery Manager will drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget. They will define program goals, roadmaps, and OKRs aligned with organizational strategy, establish and maintain program governance frameworks, coach teams on Agile principles, facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain dependency plans, and mitigate risks proactively. They will act as a conduit between senior leadership, engineering, and business teams, providing regular status updates and dashboards to executives, and fostering open communication and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
- Define program goals, roadmaps, and OKRs aligned with organizational strategy.
- Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including RACI and KPI tracking.
- Coach teams on Agile principles (Scrum, SAFe), ensuring adoption and maturity.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, retrospectives, PI planning.
- Maintain dependency plans across sprints and mitigate risks proactively.
- Act as a conduit between senior leadership, engineering, and business teams.
- Provide regular status updates and dashboards to executives.
- Foster open communication and resolve conflicts effectively.
Requirements
- 10–15 years in program/project management, with at least 5 years in technical delivery roles.
- Banking Industry knowledge and Payment’s expertise.
- Requires advanced knowledge of project and program management principles.
- Leadership, negotiation, analytical thinking, and executive communication skills.
- Nice to have: Mainframe Modernization experience, Understanding of SOWs, Pricing, Negotiations & various models of contracting, Technical certifications, Cloud certifications, AI certifications.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of project and program management principles.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical thinking, and executive communication skills.
- Experience in Mainframe Modernization, SOWs, Pricing, Negotiations & various models of contracting, Technical certifications, Cloud certifications, AI certifications are a plus.

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $113,000- $181,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This is an Onsite position to qualified applicants in Jersey City, NJ. The working arrangement for this role is accurate as of the posting date but may change based on business or project needs.
