About the role
Amazon Rufus is the exciting new LLM-based feature in the Amazon App / Desktop designed to allow customers to engage with Amazon in natural language conversations. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver critical programs to build the leading edge infrastructure behind this experience as well as develop new delightful customer experiences in this space.
Responsibilities
- Running high visibility programs across multiple teams in Amazon Rufus.
- Managing stakeholders across these teams as well as senior leadership of Search and adjacent orgs.
- Mentoring and growing other technical leaders to help them scale and lead mission critical initiatives.
- Using data and key metrics to drive improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
