Key job responsibilities

  • Own telemetry and data architecture end-to-end — define the instrumentation strategy, data pipelines, and measurement frameworks that span both customer-facing signals (engagement, conversion, shopping intent) and backend system telemetry (latency, availability, reliability).
  • Build scalable data systems and internal data products — drive the design and delivery of infrastructure that supports high-volume telemetry ingestion, real-time and batch processing, attribution models, dashboards, and self-service analytics for partner teams.
  • Define and measure shopping missions — own the frameworks that capture how customers navigate multi-turn shopping journeys (browse, compare, purchase, reorder) across Alexa surfaces, enabling the organization to understand mission completion, drop-off, and long-term engagement patterns.
  • Drive conversational analytics — build the telemetry and measurement systems that quantify how customers interact with Alexa's conversational shopping experiences, including intent recognition quality, dialogue effectiveness, and conversion through natural language interactions.
  • Lead cross-functional programs spanning 10–20+ teams — coordinate across engineering, economics, data science, and product organizations to deliver multi-year programs from scoping through launch.
